Edit: I guess it's #ThunderFreezingRain or #ThunderSleet, but that doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
So the wind yesterday destroyed my gas grill! The wind caught the canvas cover and knocked it over. All the knobs broke off, a wheel feel off, and it's dented all to hell. Not sure if any of burners work or not. Likely need to get a new one.
I like how the forecast is now wobbling between never ending snow and severe thunderstorms with a hail/tornado threat.

The #MadisonWI Trader Joe's has a lot of student customers, and those often have creative mobility solutions. Spotted yesterday: Two students shopping by e-scooter: Paper bag with groceries hung on the handlebars, two riders. They were a little wobbly to start.
Guy in line at Colectivo made my day just now. We joked about "I'm gettin' back on the train."
He looked a bit older than me and very into bicycle commuting, which puts him into 5% of the patrons at this Monroe Street shop.
Turns out he literally is getting back on the train. (I assumed he was being euphamistic about resuming caffeine or something.) He is spending down the leftover days on his Amtrak USRail unlimited pass following a trip out west. It has three days on it so it sounds like he plans to take a run from Chicago down to New Orleans to grab a meal and just come back up here. Not taking the sleeper, either. That's some true backpacker vibe, especially for a 70 year old.
