Will be a proper review in a couple of weeks, but my main lens for this trip will be the cheap and cheerful TT Artisan 40mm F2. It's got autofocus, it's available for E-mount, Z-mount and L-mount... and it's super cute and tiny mounted on my teeny tiny Lumix S9.

I think this little rig will give me some joy in the coming weeks. This cost me well under $200 to purchase, and they shipped it express at no extra charge.

Something is brewing between Meike (https://meikeglobal.com/) and the L-mount Alliance (https://l-mount.com/) of which Meike is not a member but develop and sell L-mount lenses.

A few weeks ago Meike took down all lenses from its online store. When asked for comment, lenses were reported as “out of stock” and the store will be rectified and updated soon (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4817182).

But twice in promotional emails Meike writes:

> The link for the lens of the L mount has not yet taken effect. If you need lenses with L mount, you can first place an order for lenses with E mount. After placing the order successfully, please inform us via email to replace the L checkpoint.

It almost sounds like Meike is trying to negotiate or skirt around some licensing issue.
