For all my more adventurous classical musical listeners out there: This piece is AMAZING.
To often this particular style of composition forgets the "organized" part of "music is organized sound", but this piece has a clear structure to it, which considering that it's all just amplified sounds of people writing on and doing various things to a giant board is pretty amazing.
Anyway, I watched the whole 23 minutes of it and was enthralled throughout.
It does take a little bit to get going, but there's a big cadence (see it's got something you could reasonably call a cadence, and again, it's just two people writing on a board) point at around 3:00 min that is actually stunning. THIS is what music should be, tonal, atonal, soundscape, noise, whatever.
Definitely keeping an eye out on stuff from both J. Zhu (the composer) and Beyond This Point (The performers)
