Have been checking out virtual office comm platforms like #Gather and #Kumospace for my teams.

Within 2 mins of getting on kumo, a sales guy jumped into my "office". He got 2 lines into his script, saw I was in the music biz, and just started posting #SoundCloud links to his dj mixes.

His microphone didn't work the whole time so he did it all via chat.

I like the idea of get together in a virtual location e.g. in a café selcting some virtual coffee or cookies and only can talk to people which are in my radius. So many circles can join the same area.

Also interesting how small games are included. The garden was nice as well.

I enjoyed last friday the #googlesummerofcode #mentorsummit online. The summit started with a #Kumospace. Some mentors get together in a virtual cafe or garden with interactive content. The summit follows with Q/A and lightning talks afterwards breakout session.

I leaded a breakout session. First time I used #dalle for a slide. We discussed several aspects of "Time Management and Planning with new Extended Timeline Options". This optional change of the timeline is a big success.
