Google is again testing the card style knowledge panels that @rustybrick posted about on SER. This time, the boxes contain additional search suggestions that surprisingly start a new Google search when clicked.
When you hover over these boxes, they turn a slightly darker shade of gray. As the images are zoomed as you hover, this makes the whole knowledge panel somehow more playful.

Not that it is easy, but you can build your business card in Google Search. That is right there where people check you out anyway.

Could it be that Google has started to show a new design for knowledge panels? Today I saw some results for music bands (and other content), I have not seen before.
They are no longer displayed in the right column, but right at the top in different colors with some refinement bubbles.
Seems to be a logical evolution from the separated design with bubbles at the top and more info in the right column.
Looks pretty cool to me ... 🤘

These profiles are supposed to help Google distinguish between real sellers and scammers. But Kiin Thai has a Google Business Profile, and searching for "kiin thai burbank" brings up a #KnowledgePanel with the correct website address - on a page that is headed with a link to a *scam* website for the same business. Google, in other words, has everything it needs to flag lookalike sites and confirm them with their registered owners.
