#knockathecabin was nowhere near the worst fillm I've seen this year. But the last half was weak compared to a steller opening 45 min. Dave Batista is reason to watch, as well as the main family. But like most Shamalan movies, it all builds to its ending, and this was a misstep.

1st 45 min are fantastic. From there the movie is on a steady decline with an ending that will make or break depending on personal feelings. An extra star goes for Dave Baustista, who absolutely owns his role and commands the screen whenever he is on it.
