I re-read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep a while back for the first time in about 30 years.
What struck me this time round wasn't all the stuff about the replicants or the weird religion. It was that what was left of humanity was being buried under tons of #kipple Just stuff that had been made and no one had any use for anymore.
Look around your house. How much kipple is there.
