The VHS Wizard 🦝📼🧙No progress on my #kiddvideo edit last night, turns out when you push your broken and beaten body as hard as I do, sometimes it has "consequences" and "stops responding" no matter how much caffeine you consume.
In other news, I've gained the Well Rested perk today, I have no idea what it is or does.
So what I'm currently working on is passing as much of the color information from the US version on to the dub version without actively degrading it's quality.
When done correctly, you get outcomes like below - left side is uncorrected dub footage, right side is the dub footage corrected with some of the color info from the US version.
That said, the biggest problem I'm running into is that I suspect that the Spanish Dub that I'm working with was made for PAL regions, which is (probably) why it's blue and desaturated compared to the US footage - left is the US footage, right is the dub footage, you can clearly see the difference in color space between the two of them.
