Anyone know what happened to kbin.run? Is this just temporary issues or is this something more long term, ya think?
Oh wow.
I wonder if I donated, if I would use Mbin much more (according to the "after all, I put money into it so I must like it" kind of brain workings) or less ("I've contributed to Fediverse success, no need to show up and post as much").

I posted a similar "feeler" [thread](https://kbin.run/m/kbinrun/t/14456/META-How-s-my-driving) last year and I'm curious how the more recent userbase is feeling about [kbin.run](https://kbin.run/). Things you like/dislike/wish I could do better/etc? I welcome healthy criticism, so feel free to let me know your thoughts....
Hmm, do you have the "Hide NSFW content" setting enabled in your profile (picture attached)? Otherwise NSFW should load just fine. If it's a magazine that hasn't been subscribed to by any other kbin.run user, then it might take a few iterations of federation to take place before any content starts appearing after subscribing. You should see a banner at the top of the magazine warning of lack of subscribers/content if so.
The only NSFW policy I have in place is that NSFW content must be tagged 18+ and comply with all US laws.

I tried to subscribe to 18+ magazine from outside of kbin.run instance, but they wont load. Local search for 18+ magazines shows 0 results. Does this mean that kbin.run has a policy against such content, or is this some sort of an oversight?
Might be a silly question, but can you make sure the kbin.run sidebar on your end is showing subscribed? Even though Mbin shows the total subscriber count, it won't matter unless a local user is subscribed to the magazine in question for federation to take place. Also, if incremental.social is not on the latest main branch of Mbin the DMs won't federate, it'll be officially supported in the next release.
I checked fedia.io and it also is showing the last update about a week ago, leading me to believe it's an issue with incremental.social. I'd recommend using their contact form if you can find it.

I subscribe to [email protected]. Checking incremental.social tells me there are new posts, which kbin.run does not see. I private messaged the mods and did not get a response. Asking here partially to ask this kbin instance's admin about the federation issues, and to figure out what to do about federation...
