@ben This is an important piece, and subject. I wonder though, if you should expand the thought project to include implementation and broader use of tools that already exist, that could be helpful today.
Bluetooth mesh network messengers, like bitchat or firechat, improving awareness of sideloading apps and alternative app stores, and building out more #news sites and social media over #TOR, and WiFi hotspot infrastructure and services like those offered by #Kiwix.
There's a lot of projects that could be helpful today and provide #protesters and #jounalists with benefits and a backup channel today, if only they could be encouraged to use them before a news blackout apocolypse.
