Historic Lantern Tours to Pause Due to Construction
There will be a pause in Historic Lantern Tours in late June and early July due to a construction project on the trail leading to the tour route. Scenic, Discovery and Wild Caving Tours will not be impacted and will still be offered.

Visitor Center Closed Due to Power Outage - No Cave Tours Offered
The Jewel Cave National Monument visitor center has been without power since 12/18 due to an extreme windstorm and cannot offer cave tours. We will update this alert when we again have power and can reopen the visitor center and resume cave tours. We appreciate your patience.

No Cave Tours September 8-12 Due to Generator Installation
The park will not offer cave tours September 8-12. The visitor center will be open except on the 11th due to power outages. The park will be open for hiking and patio talks. Cave tours are planned to resume on the 13th on a first-come first-serve basis.
