@NaraMoore Most of my #JCovers answers are more anime than anything  But I have one or two #JDance picks.

Answering the second question for #JMusicFriday ! 1/2

angela x Chiaki Ishikawa, singing A Cruel Angel's Thesis. From Animelo Summer Live 2009. It was in that year I discovered it and it's stuck with me. IMO a very hard song to cover because it needs a certain voice to do so, and both these ladies have the lungs to do it in their own way. Being from 2009, the video's long gone from YT and I can't find my own copy (I still have the mp3 and a ripped to CD version lol), so this VK link will have to do, it's the only one I've found: https://vk.com/video-33431674_161526477

The song "You are the one," which has been sung by Namie Amuro and globe. I had no idea which one came first until looking it up right now for this question and turns out neither! Originally a charity song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TF8sMYBD6IU) where Amuro and KCO from globe both appeared, and then globe covered it in 1998. Then Amuro did her own cover in 1999.

Amuro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo18HrG2awk (I could only find the live version)

Both have lived in my head for many years, and both are very good within each performer's strengths. I am eternally biased towards globe's version though.
