Good to know that @slava finally found his way to mastodon. ❤️

#jedit

Hmm, #jedit is a little slow at rewrapping a 170k line document. This falls into the category of "things that are my own damn fault", though.
#Java #AI #ili2d
The past months, I've started using #VSCode for more projects. It's ok, but the way it handles multiple open folders and SSH connections is sorely lacking. So I've gone from #jEdit with 680 open files across 19 remote endpoints, to having only 390 files open in jEdit plus now also 14 instances of VS Code.

@ctietze yes, it _is_ obvious to have a preview for mass text edit replacements. This is one of many reasons why I dumped #Emacs for #jEdit ~20 years ago.

Unfortunately, jEdit never became a full Emacs replacement, but close enough, and plenty of others since that have improved the art.

I've only recently re-adopted Emacs for #OrgRoam and it has been deeply frustrating. At best Emacs is an editor toolkit, and org-roam a #PKM toolkit, but I am persistent.

@zacts I like #vim and I also use #JEdit and #KWrite / #Kate. (I don't hate #emacs, but I'm not smart enough for those long key combos, so I can't use it. I couldn't even memorize most of the key combos in Street Fighter II.)
