I've just returned from the 63rd Estonian hamfest, which took place near Narva-Jõesuu this year. Although the Russian border is only about 200 km from my office, I haven't been there lately.

I shouldn't say that, but I'm feeling nostalgic about those places – little has changed there in the last 15 years, whereas the constant and rapid changes in the rest of the country have somehow worn me down.

#Russia will close the #Ivangorod checkpoint on the #border with #Estonia to road #traffic from February 2024 to late 2025. The border crossing will remain open for pedestrians.
