Cities need reliable environmental data to protect infrastructure and respond to extreme weather.

Decentlab sensors deliver robust, data-driven insights where municipal decisions matter — making Smart City solutions practical and real.

Pumpkins are part of #Halloween lore (even when they’re 3D printed!) and this year, it’s time to put pumpkins…on the Cloud! ☁️
Here I used an #ESP8266 to consume messages from #Azure #IoTHub and an IR emitter to remote control the candle.
No matter if the candle is near or far, IR signals can be "bridged" over the Cloud! Also, the candle can be controlled from an app, a function, whatever…! Spooky, isn’t it? 🎃

Create a Digital Twin of a Meadow-powered Project Lab with Azure IoT

Join our developer advocate, Jorge Ramirez, on Thursday, September 28th at 9:30 am PT to learn how to create a Digital Twin of a Meadow-powered Project Lab with Azure. In this livestream demo, we'll read, process, and send atmospheric data (Temperature, Humidity, and Pressure) on a real microcontroller-powered Meadow board to Azure IoT Hub, which triggers an Azure function that ultimately sends it to an Azure Digital Twin model.

Meadow can now send/receive data to #Azure with IoT Hub! This @Hacksterio project sends temp/humidity data with an #HTU21D sensor. https://www.hackster.io/wilderness-labs/send-temperature-humidity-data-from-meadow-to-azure-iot-hub-340b39 @azureadvocates you might want to try this out! 😀

Using an #ipv6 only mobile #iot network and want to connect to #azure #iothub? Not a problem if you have a carrier like #telstra (Australia) that supports #nat64, as in my recent blog article using the #nordic #thingy91 https://purple.telstra.com/blog/device-authentication-with-nordic-thingy-91-and-azure-iot-hub
Device Authentication with Nordic Thingy:91 and Azure IoT Hub

A look at X.509 certificates for device authentication with an example using the Nordic Thingy:91 connecting to Azure IoT Hub, using IPv6.
