I was really surprised to be able to reproduce #gimp/#gegl's oilify plugin as a #unity shader that easily.
The only real stopper was that I realized after too long that I couldn't use a uniform in a for loop (never used for loops in shaders, I guess it must be written somewhere, but it just failed silently, so... 🤷 would love to hear from more experienced people about it!)
That will also get in the little experiment with #inktranslate and the textmeshpro effects test!
