Signals tracked. Tools tested. Gaps closed.
📍 Applied Recon:
Practiced identity profiling from minimal data: usernames, metadata, old accounts.
Refined solo background check flow — efficient, client-ready, no fluff.
Geolocation drills: worked image verification and failed trails to sharpen instinct and exit discipline.
Began longform narrative analysis — tracking how pacing and structure shape viewer retention and emotional targeting.
🗂️ Signal Shaping:
Studied why 20-min, 3-arc formats dominate high-retention media.
Logged passive audio elements as ambient framing tools.
Tuned voice delivery for clarity and precision — applied to case narration and info drops.
🛠️ In Progress:
CTF prep: US Cyber Games open soon.
Building quiet authority — showing work through process, not hype.
Laying down content as proof-of-skill, not just noise.

🇪🇺 Why did the EU develop FIMI?
#FIMI was created to counter external #influence operations, particularly #russian #disinformation. Unlike older disinfo concepts, it shifts focus from content to behavioral intent—meaning that even truthful information can be classified as FIMI if used manipulatively.
This helps policymakers address broader influence strategies, but makes FIMI analytically tricky for researchers.
🛠️ The #euvsdisinfo #dataset is a fantastic resource—well-structured, highly useful, and a great example of proactive #data sharing in the #research of #disinformation. I’ll be using it in an upcoming research project!
🔍 That said, the data collection #methodology remains a bit opaque. If anyone has insights on how the data is gathered, I’d love to hear more!

EUvsDisinfo is the flagship project of the European External Action Service’s East StratCom Task Force. It was established in 2015 to better forecast, address, and respond to the Russian Federation’s ongoing disinformation campaigns affecting the European Union, its Member States, and countries in the shared neighbourhood.

Would love to hear your thoughts! How do you see these frameworks interacting?
2/10❓ How should we respond to disinformation?
It’s not just about fact-checking falsehoods. Disinformation exploits systemic weaknesses—in institutions, media, and even human cognition.
But different actors (NATO, EU, national governments) approach this threat through different conceptual lenses. Understanding their functional differences is critical to effective defense.
