Two army personnel, including a captain, were killed and another was injured when an improvised explosive device (IED), believed to have been planted by terrorists, exploded near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Akhnoor sector near in Jammu
A child has died after a fresh explosion at the house of a January 1 attack victim in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri. According to the police, five others have also been injured, while one is critically injured. Another suspected IED was also spotted in the area by the J&K police. The incident comes just a day after four civilians were killed by terrorists who barged into Hindu homes in Rajouri on Sunday. Reports suggest that the terrorists first confirmed the identities of the victims through their Aadhaar cards and then opened fire on them. The terror attack caused panic and protests, with several organisations, including traders’ bodies, observing a general strike in the Rajouri district. Watch this video for full information.
