To avoid further embarrassment, both Cleveland State University and Ideastream should acknowledge the irregularities and missteps, and unravel the deal until it can be transparently and openly debated -- including with full input from the loyal WCSB community, volunteer staff and others. And CSU still owes its own institution and the community detailed explanations about why such a move was even contemplated, writes the editorial board of The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com.
As a supporter of #Ideastream since it's inception it pains me, but following the truly horrible thing they did to #WCSB and how they did it, the only action that will change their leadership is a boycott.
@FallsMom It doesn't make much sense beyond the corporate logic that dictates constant expansion. Their leadership is in a bubble and doesn't recognize anything beyond Ideastream, which they have unnecessarily harmed by burning the goodwill of all the #WCSB listeners and students/alum (who mostly remain in #Cleveland) and also (have until now) support(ed) #Ideastream. The blinders of corporate leadership groupthink.
