I am gobsmacked how much the ICJ advisory opinion is up my moral alley.
Like someone else commented: it's like as if the parents return and stopp a teenage home-alone-party gone off rails.
I want to collect quotes by which I was impressed or found generally important.
"Above all, a lasting and satisfactory solution requires human will and wisdom
at the individual, social, and political levels
to change
our habits, comforts, and current way of life
in order to secure a future for ourselves and those who are yet to come."
ICJ quote #1 at 3:03:21
Change our habits and current way of life!
The judges really got this right.
There's no tech-ing ourselves out of the way-of-life gluttony we normalised and see as birth right in G-North countries.

and potentially also from the written stuff https://www.icj-cij.org/case/187
