Yep, still cold
It's January. Of course, it is still cold. Turns out, that was our 6th-coldest December in Dawson City since 1898. https://twitter.com/ThierryGooseBC/status/2007148319114776853 Zooming in on that chart for Dawson City: I'll have to look more at the weather from 1917 in the records my Uncle Joe sent me. That sounds like a doozie! We are going through firewood at an impressive pace. Two Rubbermaid totes a day, instead of our usual 1. Right now it's -47C/-53F, and it is forecast to dip to [β¦]My mother (born and raised in Alaska) always told me horror stories about the ice fog...but having seen it myself, there are few winter atmospheres so beautiful.
