I just wish they wouldn't brand it as "AI powered". The music world has enough problems with AI without deliberately conflating the algorithmic tools we've had & used for decades with the fraudulent, useless bullshit everyone currently thinks about when they hear those two letters...
Hrmm, writing small programs isn't too difficult once you know where the functions are, but I don't know how to make them easily accessible which would be nice via the menuing system. Also, the documentation for the `db48x` firmware kinda stops at the programming section.
So, went ahead and purchased a nice calculator (Swiss Micro DM42n) because RPN/RPL is awesome and I deserve it. First thing that's gonna happen once it arrives: getting `db48x` installed on it. So friggin excited.
Real talk: I fell for this demo - when #hp42 talks, I listen ππ Seemed like the EXACT! kind of sound I always end up gravitating towards in amp sims; I went & bought the bundle & holy crap does it sound good π₯°πΈπ»π
It's basically standalone plugins of the each of the classics; Tweed, '65 Reverb, AC-30 & Marshall - that's all they do & they do it so flippin well π€― they're not for everything; I'll still have use for Amplitube, but for these sounds? Fogetabowdit π
Seems like Harley Benton is really growing up as a low-budget, good quality guitar & gear brand - I mean, in this price range they're basically alone in offering an actual tube amp with anything resembling serious wattage & if Henning likes the sound, it really can't be all bad... πΈ
