yes. I believe in American political vernacular it's called "dog-whistling". You communicate in a kind of code, which your target audience totally gets, but which is considered more oblique than full-pin facho talk.

And the French media - 90% of which is controlled by 9 billionaires - has helped them immeasurably in this. 😬

* November 5th actually, I was just busy with parenting responsibilities yesterday.

** Of course not /celebrate/. Watching someone taken down by addiction, or living through the impacts of it — even someone with bad policies that hurt others! — is not cause for celebration. I mourn what we lost 2010-2014.
