I have to find out how much ot costs to replace the roof of a house.

Found a house that is really great location and good price but requires a new roof.

I would love to put 10 to 16 bifocal solar panels there while doing it. That will be 5-8kW of solar panels.

Continuing adventures in #homeMaintenance: what do I do if my #downspout is not properly anchored to the wall? I need to sort this out quickly, before my appointment to get a downspout planter installed on the 1st. https://water.phila.gov/gsi/tools/downspout-planter/

I still don't understand how people are supposed to learn stuff like #houseRepair.

EDIT: No point in reattaching this low on the wall, diverter would probably be installed above here.

Mastadon, I need some #diy advice!

Sparky took a chunk of wall out the side of our house when installing the new cameras, it's pretty deep, maybe ~10cm (it goes at an angle). It's a cinder block wall I think, does anyone have any #advice on what to use to fill it?

Successful working bee today.

Invited some family over and together we replaced some rotten decking on the cottage and started to get the jungle that was once a back yard under control.

We both find it so hard to get motivated otherwise... This is such a good way to spend time with the fam and be productive at the same time 😊
