Harris School

The old Harris School on Highway 31 in Oregon is a historic one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1890 by the Harris family, pioneers in the Summer Lake area. The school served the rural community for several years, until it was closed in 1929 due to shifting populations and transportation. The schoolhouse still stands today, as a reminder of the past and a landmark of the Warner Valley.
