After almost two years of herniated disc problems, I can now go for a walk for 1/2 hour without any pain, I LOVE IT.
I'm very grateful I had access to an OP (got my first MRI and they looked at it and did the OP on the same day), 2 x rehabilitation and ongoing physiotherapy.
The OP and outpatient reha had no out of pocket cost for me and the inpatient reha and physiotherapy were/are affordable.
Also, please do something for your core muscles, you do NOT want herniated discs!!
What are the symptoms of a herniated disc?
The main signs of an intervertebral hernia are: sudden onset of pain; pain may radiate to the leg after lifting heavy objects, strenuous exercise, bending, coughing or sneezing; lying down improves pain; bending forward aggravates the pain.
Cervical spine surgery is needed when treatments don’t help or if nerve compression causes pain, weakness, or serious problems.

A herniated disc happens when the soft inside part of a disc pushes out through a crack in the tough outer layer, causing pain and other symptoms.
