Ex-RPGNet Review: Heavy Gear – Blueprint File
Another belated 30th anniversary:
Scans of my copy of Heavy Gear: Life on Terra Nova, published January, 1996. This is the book that made me fall in love with Heavy Gear. The art and setting details just sucked me in and has kept me a Heavy Gear fan for 30 years.

The CEF brought allies along on their invasion of Terra Nova; foremost among them was Caprice. Not all Capricians support the CEF. Some, known as the Liberati, resist Corporate Caprice and their CEF allies.
Everyone on Caprice lives in a massive canyon called the Cat's Eye Trench. Due to it's hostile terrain, Caprice has developed spider-like Mounts as their main combat vehicle.

Thank you for the kind words. I enjoy painting, but don’t consider myself even “display quality” but I do try!
I do some work for Dream Pod 9 (the publisher of #heavygear) but it’s keeping their web presence up, not painting or design.
Finally done building all the Heavy Gear Blitz models I had. It took a few years but I did it! 🥳
Painting is probably gonna take priority again for a bit but I have a few other things to build in the back log yet.
Fun Find: Heavy Gear D6 Bravo!

@Spark I am bad at finishing projects.
For #heavygear I have a handful of Caprice to finish, focusing on a “command” Zikru modded with an antenna fin from another model. Also some new Black Talons and an entire force of NuCoal pending decal procurement.
I also have the starter set and a lunar rover for #lunar which I think may get pushed forward. I need to spend a day doing their decals as well.
I also have a few random 28mm characters in progress, and a bunch primed ahead. Plus an entire force for #OnePageRules firefight skirmish mode…
As I said, good at starting at things, trying to enforce “finish two, build one” again.
