Today is my #Debian13 upgrade day.

Many nodes in my #hashicorpNomad environments. Smooth so far without any app downtimes.

I love #hetzner #hcloud, not only a good (or best) price/performance ratio but the UI and user experience are top.

"DNS Console is moving to the Hetzner Console[...] After November 10, 2025, it will no longer be possible to create zones using the DNS Console or the DNS API."

Anyone in the know of an updated dyndns script in FarrowStrange style, or a good tutorial for hcloud

Pretty nice UX 👍 to see which servers are affected by an outage #Hetzner #hcloud #cloud
In the meantime, my PRs to add native support for #hcloud in #Ignition and #Afterburn have been merged, so maybe we'll soon have an official CoreOS Image on Hetzner Cloud 🥳

Currently #Hetzner Cloud does not natively support #CoreOS (yet?).

So I created this #Packer template which lets you create an image. It even supports Ignition config via user data and automatic SSH public key and hostname configuration!

Have a look: https://github.com/mhutter/hcloud-packer-coreos

Nomad users have to figure out how to deploy the driver themselves (which is arguably way easier than the kubernetes deployment)." https://github.com/hetznercloud/csi-driver/issues/331

Yes, it is, it is. 😆

Finally! #rocky #linux is available as rapid deploy image on #hcloud 😍

@unixwitch

Für das Resource Handling würde ich eher auf terraform.io setzen. Dort gibt es einen fertigen Hetzner Cloud Provider: https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/hcloud/index.html

#ansible #hcloud #hetzner #terraform #hashicorp

Provider: Hetzner Cloud - Terraform by HashiCorp

The Hetzner Cloud (hcloud) provider is used to interact with the resources supported by Hetzner Cloud.

Heute habe ich gelernt und ausprobiert, wie man schöne #Ansible-Playbooks zum Steuern von #HetznerCloud (#hcloud) Instanzen schreibt.

Natürlich habe ich das auch aufgeschrieben:

Blockstorage (also eine zusätzliche Festplatte) kostet momentan
0,0400 €/GB/Monat (Maximal 40ct ohne Mehrwertsteuer)

Wenn man für kurze Tests 10GB für 0,0013 Monate (ca 1 Minute) nimmt, dann werden einem die 0,00052 € aber nicht in Rechnung gestellt 🙂 .
