Nothing to report today really. Just curled up gaming and being a lump. I'm still trying to beat the Economic Dominance challenge on Victoria 3; I'm about to restart back to a specific save for the uh... third? fourth? time and see if I can get it right. Eventually, ha ha.

Mainly, amused AF that Voldemom (as I call my narcissist mother) has managed to alienate yet another member of the extended family -- this time, my one of my siblings' partners. I can't feel sorry for VM, but I can for my siblings and their spouses/partners that she failed them as well.
Anyways. Gonna enjoy an extra dose of caffeine, curl up with games, and enjoy discount heat. We were able to switch to a new tariff with the heat pump, and there are periods of the day when the electricity is cheaper; we're in one of those right now, so smug discount laundry washing, ha ha.

Oh stars, today I am just like, gaming and more gaming. I have so many games up! And because of that, I'm really happy, ha ha. I tend to feel anxious when I don't know what to play, so having a lot of things to poke at is bliss.
LotrO: Currently cleaning up some deeds for previous areas for points and fun.
Pokemon: Making slow but steady headway on the main story/catching them all.
Minecraft: New game up on laptop, which I will probably get bored of once I hit the Nether. xD
Phone: I've developed a bit of an addiction to Match Factory, ha ha.
So uh, yeah. Back to that. :D

I am feeling productive today. I've already got my hair washed, and I've already taken the blanket for @moonrabbit to the Post Office. I cocked up and didn't put enough postage on it, so I paid an extra £2 to get tracking.
I also remembered to get some cash out for this weekend, because I'm doing a fayre. I don't expect to like, make money or anything, but it'll be nice to spend time with Ruth (a semi-regular booth buddy), and her work-wife Faye, who works in the kitchen during this particular fayre. Which means Ruth might well disappear into the kitchen, but that's okay too. *laughs*
Back to my sock in progress for knitting. I ended up grabbing a basic heel pattern from another pattern because the one recommended by the pattern I'm working is like, a 40 minute Youtube video. While I like learning new techniques, I'm not quite up to that right now, ha ha.

Whups, time escapes me. I got work knocked out pre-noon, but then was focused on grinding deeds -- the most annoying of deeds, Bree-land deeds. But they are done on my current main, and hallelujah for that. xD
Youngest even popped into the game for a bit. I grouped up with her and showed her around a bit, as in, picking up, tracking, and doing quests. Spouse was a smidge sad because he couldn't join in due to too much work stuff to do, but I'm sure we'll make it happen at some point soon. Now I've got to figure out what I myself want to do in game for now, ha ha. Grind more deeds, or circle back around and do some more Moria quests? I'll get the next section of deeds put into my spreadsheet and think about it. Maybe swap to a less involved game and focus on knitting more.
As for the knitting, I added ball 7 of 10 earlier. So exciting progress. I can feel the rows getting shorter, which is super encouraging. I also need to look up a good knitting pattern for lil pumpkins, because pumpkins. *nodnods*

Busy bees in our house this Saturday. We hired our declutterer to do a session with the kids, and it's going well! Eldest's room is more or less squared away, and smallest gets the last hour to herself. Declutterer apologised that she can't stay longer than the allotted 4 hour, but that's fine. She has a life outside of working with us, ha ha.
I finished getting the heart shape for my disability pride flag worked out. I also coloured some stripes on it, but I think I might have to shift them very slightly once I start committing it to pixels. I need to pull the thread boxes out... momentarily, I am thinking. I've had extra caffeine and my brain almost feels like it's functioning.

It's Friday! I've survived another week! Yay etc. Work is done, and my pain levels are mainly okay. I've not had to take anything or get anything applied yet, so. Might get spouse to put some Voltarol on my back as a treat, ha ha.
But yesss, it's just about the weekend, and a very important one -- it's the 18th anniversary of me immigrating to the UK. We aren't precisely sentimental people, my spouse and I, but we do like to note the important dates... pedantry sentiment? Who knows. But yeah, 18 years in this country, out of the 25 years of my adulthood. I look forward to 2032, when it'll tip over to me having been here more than half my life.

Ooph, I have survived the first of the month work-wise. It's always a bit busier 'cause people paying in, but I got everything done before 3 -- my self-appointed close of business. I'm super chuffed about that.
I'm less chuffed by the unexpected fever blister in an awkward location. It's on the underside of my top lip, near the corner of my mouth. The pressure I'm feeling there feels more like a zit, but the actual appearance looks to be a little blister cluster. Which means I'm having to slap down the part of my brain that *needs* to pop my zits when they arrive.
(zero interest in seeing other people pop spots, but I do find it really soothing to sort my own)
Today marks my eldest's six month anniversary with their girlfriend. They're both so very cute and in love. Eldest got spouse to make them a shirt to gift to the girlfriend, and now we're just waiting for them to message us asking to bring her over, or to go over to hers for a bit after school. Spouse actually already planned his afternoon around the possibility of having to go play fetch, so. We'll see.
