I made it to the gym. And I'm grateful that it's such a nice atmosphere here. People say "hi" and "goodbye" to each other, and the music is nice.

Also, I seem to have a talent for going when the place is rather empty.

I'm also grateful that I got myself here today. I'm not in a good headspace and need to get my head clear. I need exercise today more than other days.

Today I did a fairly long workout that was all over the place - some upper body stuff, some leg stuff, some core and a good amount of stretching.

I think my left knee has gotten twisted one too many times in my life, and I need to go more gently at recovering strength there than I did today. It hurt a bit earlier.

It's supposed to be hot next week, I'm going to take a break then.

Strength training gives me a lot of joy and I'm happy I can do it again.

Went to the gym today with my wife! And I showed her a few of the machines. (Up to now, she stuck to cardio.)

I did a long upper body workout.

I also bought a pair of 3/4 length pants which felt a little airier than my full-length pants. The store is not the cheapest, but they have great service and I got pants with functional pockets!
