@mWare @markrprior Indeed. This is the nature of plenty of meetups. I'm surprised #GTALUG has actually made it back to in-person meetings.
Sounds like it was an excellent community, though.
The Greater Toronto Area LUG #GTALUG also has hybrid meetings and posts them online. Their mailing list is also moderately active, subscribe at https://www.gtalug.org/?page_id=16 Lots of overlap with #KWLUG.
I thought they were in the Fediverse, but I can't find them.
Sadly, I haven't been to a GTALUG meeting since I worked in Toronto (10 years ago!) and haven't been to a KWLUG meeting in-person since the start of the pandemic. Maybe again in the spring when it's biking weather again.
