The Greater Toronto Area LUG #GTALUG also has hybrid meetings and posts them online. Their mailing list is also moderately active, subscribe at https://www.gtalug.org/?page_id=16 Lots of overlap with #KWLUG.
I thought they were in the Fediverse, but I can't find them.
Sadly, I haven't been to a GTALUG meeting since I worked in Toronto (10 years ago!) and haven't been to a KWLUG meeting in-person since the start of the pandemic. Maybe again in the spring when it's biking weather again.

The #Kitchener #Waterloo Linux Users Group @kwlug is still going strong. Although they're looking for folks to make presentations on #FreeSoftware and related things. Remote presentations are welcome, one of the few good things to come out of the pandemic.

We were talking over a few beers after a #KWLUG meeting... 1) I think the parent company has changed hands a few times recently, and who can remember those made-up, trademark-resistant word salads? 2) it was several months ago; 3) a few beers.
I think you mean #KWLinuxfest, only loosely related to #KWLUG (two Linux enthusiast groups in the same community, with considerable overlap in membership). The Call For Presentations is open until 1 November 2017, then the selection committee starts the evaluation process. Should know a couple of weeks after that. @[email protected] and @[email protected], also !KWLUG on sn.jonkman.ca (but for some reason I can't subscribe to groups on my own (other) server)
