My mom used to bring that type back from Germany, so I was happy to be able to buy them here. Thinness is key for quick drying to avoid stink. I use a wooden spatula for scraping residues & loofahs for light scouring. I can get enormous whole loofahs cheaply at the ubiquitous Middle Eastern groceries in Montreal, then I cut them up. Great in the shower too. If I can find seeds, I'll try growing them in my garden. Apparently you can even eat them when they're young. #GreenTips
