So many artists make polite suggestions that you get their merch. For most of them it's how they can afford to tour, so I don't mind that at all. Nour Harkati just announced that they've sold all their merch, so our being there to listen was enough. (Hope they know to bring more next time!)

Just saw Mdou Moctar at Green River Festival and I would definitely do that again. I'd say they knocked my socks off, but I was wearing sandals. They finished their set and I couldn't believe it had been an hour, and probably would have felt the same if they had played for another hour.
Day 2 of the #GreenRiverFestival starts with rain again LOL. No thunder and lightning, though, so all's good! It's keeping the temperature nice.
