Why is there no Google authenticator for desktop or Chromebook... Unless I'm changing to a new phone, scanning a code with another device is useless...

Just wanna transfer my codes to another app...

#google #googleauth #2fa

My phone bricked a couple weeks back, and it wasn't until yesterday that I realized the backup/restore process on my new one had not brought along any #2FA codes (I use #GoogleAuth).

I think I have recovery codes for everything that I need, but is there a better way to manage this? Should I be generating those account export QR codes every time I add an account?
