When you are in the Garnethill area of Glasgow, keep an eye out for the small bird sculptures on the top of the lamp posts. There's over 150 of them and they are part of an art installation called Chookie Burdies created by Shona Kinloch in 1993.

Love these relief sculptures on the 1890s Savoy Centre on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. Carved on the spandrels between Roman arch windows by William Birnie Rhind, they're remarkably expressive and fluid.

The William Annan Fountain on Renfield Street in Glasgow.

Designed by Robert Lorimer and sculpted by Scott and Rae, this public drinking fountain was erected in 1915. It was presented to the City of Glasgow by William Annan, a wine and spirits merchant from Port Dundas.

Knowledge anf Inspiration by Walter Pritchard. Created in the 1950s, this sculpture can be found on a wall above University Gardens in the west end of Glasgow. I must have been along that road many times, but never really noticed how lovely this sculpture is until yesterday.
