Get a Grip
Aerosmith releases what is to become their best-selling, world-wide album ~ April 20, 1993. Don Henley and Lenny Kravitz lend some vocal help on "Amazing" and "Line-up" respectively. Two songs from the album won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, in 1993 and 1994. FWIW I have the regular OpenSuSE-built version of siril installed as well. So I thought I'd use zypper source-install to bring in all that version's dependencies.
Not the most consistent experience I've ever seen either.
So I had to work my way through doing a zypper se as well as zypper in for *every* sodding siril dependency.
I don't think I've ever seen such a freaking *MESS* as OpenSuSE's package naming scheme.
Trying to build Siril from git source. Need lots of -devel versions of packages. But do they have the same name as the binaries / tools versions? Do they heck.
Two particularly illogical examples included.
Bloody shockingly awful.
