Well being laid back nearly bit in the ass: Last minute bike tinkering and found a handful of cracks around spoke holes in the rear rim. Arghhh! Sped down to LBS, arrived 2 minutes before closing and bought the only set they had in stock. Got them set up and came to fit, and found the front has 12mm and not 15mm end caps. Doh! So, new rear, old front (which was luckily crack-free) it is. #cycling #bikeTooter

Nekogram, fork of the Open Source messaging app Telegram used by journalists and privacy activists, had just been discovered to include spyware. The malicious code sent all user's private phone numbers to the developer, a Chinese man nicknamed NekoWorkshop (alias tehcneko). The devteam publicly admitted the presence of the spyware code, then started reacting violently against the userbase.

Xubuntu 26.04 LTS (beta) - Installation with FDE failed. The preconfigured encrypted setup option, failed with Python arguments errors. And manually configured and partitioned setup failed, because it did not detect device mapped root correctly -> not possible to install on it. Let’s hope the final version fixes these both annoying issues. I did update the installer with latest version just before running the install, so the image had even older installer, which I didn’t use. #Xubuntu #LTS #LUKS2 #FDE #fail #installation #Linux
