Dear magistrate, I must demand
By warrant writ in cursive hand:
Arrest these women for that vile
And wicked craft! Let them stand trial.
Our quaint community’s in peril
From Sarah Cole and Hannah Carrol—
That she-devil and that heathen hag
Bewitched my young son, William Bragg.
