Some good #gamedev advice I heard at #gddg24 from Rami Ismail: The 70-25-5 rule. Don't try to make games that are 100% perfect. Instead 70% of your game should just be good enough (not actively bad but doesn't have to be exciting), 25% be above average (actually I forgot what he said exactly but that's what I'd guess), and only 5% have to be extremely memorable. Even if just one or two events are outstanding people will remember the game fondly a decade later.

Another thing I got to do at #gddg24 was meet @accidentlyAnton again and play his new game Blockfusion. Usually I'm not interested in mobile games because all the good ones have one time payments upfront, which I'm happy to give but I'm one of those people who refuse to sign up for Google so I can't access them. But did you know you can buy it on itch and get the apk that way?! Wish more games did this (though I realize I represent a tiny niche)
