SPRING FLING, our vibrant annual juried art show is in full bloom!
Featuring 22 talented WCAS artists, and hosted by the Kanata Civic Art Gallery @kanatagallery, SPRING FLING is meant to be a celebration of color, creativity, and fresh beginnings.

A show vernissage will be held on March 8, 2-4 pm. Come experience the joy of art in full bloom! 🌼

The Kanata Civic Art Gallery is located in the John Mlacak Centre, at 2500 Campeau Drive in Kanata.

The gallery is open 7 days a week for this exhibit, as follows:

Monday and Tuesday: 1 pm - 5 pm
Wednesday to Friday: 1 pm – 8 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm – 5 pm

My favorite part of my very part-time job is seeing people's expressions when I advise them that a certain gallery space they're about to enter (or not!) contains two artworks: one is live spiders that move freely about the room; the other is a large flat circle of fine sand on the floor.

It's like a scene from the film "The Square" 🤣
