Tried the #GasBuddy "Pay With GasBuddy" card recently. To be honest I thought it was a scam and I was very apprehensive with giving it access to my checking account, but I used it over the weekend at a Safeway here in Albuquerque to fill up the F-250 and I saved almost $11. Put 20 gallons of D2 in the truck ($3.33/gal), paid $66.00 and GasBuddy charged me $55.00. Not bad and pretty decent savings. Also, the price wasn't that outrageous compared to other stations in the area so its not like they were jacking up prices just to give you the discount in the app (or with their card). I'll probably regret this in a couple of months and will make a post lambasting them for their poor security practices as hackers have wiped out my accounts but until then I'll enjoy the savings. #frugal #frugality #frugalness #gas #petrol #diesel #fuel
