In reality, I use artisan hand-crafted jails. When you've got 3 prod jails and a bunch of special-purpose carefully-tuned ephemeral testing ones, automation isn't useful.
If I needed many jails, I would look at tools.
Right after I wrote #fmjail, ix abandoned freebsd and stopped iocage development. IIRC, someone else picked it up but I'm not certain?

Just realized why I'm kind of anxious about tech books after #snmpmastery.
For years, I had a Master Book Plan. Writing #fmjail demanded I write six HARD tech books beforehand. I broke up that march with PAM and relayed, for variety, but still: there was a plan. I worked the plan, towards a goal.
#fmjail was endgame.
I no longer have that master goal. The freedom is... paralyzing. And I have no new endgame.
My best solution? Ignore it, and write the SNMP book.
