🔬 Iodine Modifies the Susceptibility of Thyroid to Fluoride Exposure in School-age Children: a Cross-sectional Study in Yellow River Basin, Henan, China

Higher fluoride levels in urine were associated with increased thyroid volume in children, with boys showing greater changes than girls. Children with lower iodine levels also showed lower levels of the thyroid hormone TT3 when fluoride exposure was higher.
