Reading Wikipedia lately...
Have you ever noticed how some Wikipedia articles seem to be in a hurry to label certain topics as 'pseudoscience'?
Like they're trying to give you a heads up, just in case you were thinking of taking things too seriously.
Sometimes, I just want to learn about a topic without being told what to think about its scientific appeal. I might be curious about the history of a particular idea, or how it's perceived by different cultures.
Or maybe just "where did the name come from?"
I don't necessarily need a verdict on its legitimacy.
It's almost as if Wikipedia is trying to prove its own scientific rigor by being the first to call out pseudoscience?
And speaking of that...
Isn't Wikipedia a form of pseudoscience?
