Experimenting right now with multiple ways to build a backend. I checked out some
#baas like
#firestore and
#supabase. I find them interesting. They are definitively some people for witch they are appealing. For me tho, I really think it's a lot of short term benefits for a lot of long term downsides. We use firebase at work so I see that it makes a smaller team able to create bigger things fast but then you're locked with their tools for monitoring , debugging and user management. If they increase the prices you have the option to say yes or close the company.
