Pulling in this week to work on my own feedlists and dashboards.

It gives me a sense of control, having an ad-free list of news and analysis sources that I can add to easily.

It started out as .txt
then I realized I could <a href="
then I realized it only took a few minutes to add boxes and color.

Also redialing a couple podcast #rssfeed in betterbird, and adding a few things.

This helps both my civic awareness and recreation time. :)

I love my feed here on mastodon. The filters work well for hiding things I’d rather not see, but they’re not perfect. Bluesky is much worse IMO. Anyway, some thoughts on ways our feeds could be improved by client-side tools.

I probably need to rebalance my follows as my Home feed has waves of posts in Finnish, I don't mind the Finnish I can always translate it if it sparks my interest but the tide can seem high.

This means following more people, more hashtags, perhaps more lists not less.
