Content from #fedeverse and #RSS feeds are the only social media content that dont have injected adveertisements in the web.

All other places are heavily polluted with content that we dont follow and with paid advertisements.

Gemini and IRC are even so pure form of content, all with only #PlainText

It is fun to read the domain names, explore the websites and find interesting people.

I still can not believe that I am running a social media from my #selfhost #linux desktop and interacting with people.

Every SM has its own interesting people.

We can not be in all SM to get good content.

Stick to very few platforms and build your network there.

#fedeverse is good. It will take time to build networking with people here.

Start giving more good content and interactions here. Slowly you will get new connections.

@Gargron: Hey #Mastodon / #fedeverse : At NO POINT IN TIME YESTERDAY - on my web page "explore" page on mastodon.social - did #Hashtags contain:

#HurricaneHelene, #Hurricane, or #Helene

None showed up - even though when I typed them, they had FAR MORE USES in the "autocomplete" drop-down than the hashtags that DID SHOW UP!

Fix this please!
