This week, one of the key figures within the European Data Protection Supervisor #EDPS gave us a wonderful interview, explaining us the engagement of different parties in the #EUVoice #mastodon pilot project.
Also, the #EuropeanCommission DG COMM also replied to our #FOIA to access budgets, meeting minutes, and social media strategy briefs.
While we plan other interviews, stay tuned for updates on the upcoming results of our analysis!

We are asking access to documents of a long list of #EuropeanUnion Institutions and invited several decision-makers to interview sessions.

Paraules històriques Tot i que no sabem què està passant però intuïm que s’apaguen focs, s’ha d’agrair que, almenys (i per fi), la Comissió Europea reconegui i adopti la Fedi. Veurem com avança la cosa però, de moment, m’ha fet contenta llegir que donen les gràcies a l’EDPS i que es postulin com a node de referència per a qualsevol institució interessada en participar a la Fedi. Despite showing courage, I fear that the only legacy that will linger is that no EU institutions, bodies, offices or agencies will, for unknown reasons, put the energy into running a web application that was previously positioned as a thingy to prevent disinformation or just the public values that are needed running a healthy democracy.

Hey @patrick_breyer_mep as #EUVoice is going to be shutting down, perhaps it's time to add building and maintaining sovereign social media infrastructure to campaign promises for the upcoming #Europarl elections? 
Or is that somewhere there already and I just missed it? 👀
