Haim Saban is a powerful media producer, and music composer.

In the 1960s, he started his career as a bass player and manager for the band The Lions of Judah, which had some niche success, but wasn't well known. In the 1980s, Saban moved to the US and began making music for children's cartoons. He then parlayed this success into his own production company Saban Entertainment, which over time and through acquisitions, grew into a multi-billion dollar business.

His other businesses in media also include ProSiebenSat.1, one of Germany's largest television companies, a lead share in Univision, and and Saban Music Group, a label focused on Latin American talent.

Saban regularly gives to Israeli causes and has discussed his politics as being "single issue" an that issue being Israel.
